Somewhat inspired by the TV show "The Big Bang Theory" (which by the way I do not like, so this may indeed sound like a weird name for a painting .... However Sheldon does tickle me a bit) This piece was more inspired by a different type of Big Bang! *wink*

This piece was inspired by a friend whose husband is in the Coast Guard (thank you Doug vanK for your service) who is away from home for long periods of time. The reality of it is that it SUCKS to be away from the person you fancy the most in the world. The great thing though is that technology breaks the divide of distance.

"SHOCKER"

Originally the inspiration I had floating around in my head was 'LEATHER & LACE'....I like the idea of hard & soft, the masculine meshed together with the feminine. Somewhere along the process however the feeling became cloudy and lost. Eventually twisting the original colors of only being black and white and adding a few metallics.

SHOCKER was born....as if it's shocking, that's for you to decide. The reference/inspiration came from something which the viewer may find a tad bit surprising.........

Hmmm, how to put it delicately? Oh sod it, it's impossible so bluntly it is.

It's 2 in the pink & 1 in the stink.....that's called the SHOCKER! (Thank you to Steel Panther for the that)
